Year 5 trip to South Downs Planetarium
On Tuesday 21st October, Year 5 visited the South Downs Planetarium in Chichester as part of their topic on Space. We had a fascinating presentation in the space dome, where our eyes adjusted to the darkness of the night sky to learn more about stars, constellations and planets.
After lunch the children paired up to complete the Space quiz, learn more about NASA’s future Artemis missions to the moon, and of course visit the shop! A great day had by all. Thank you to the volunteers at the Planetarium today for a great visit!
